Zivni exists to fix the messy reality of how FMCG companies run their field operations in Pakistan, the GCC, and emerging markets across Africa and South Asia.
If you’ve ever managed a distribution business, you know the gap between what head office thinks is happening and what’s actually happening in the field. Sales reps claim visits that didn’t happen. Orders get lost between WhatsApp messages, paper pads, and Excel sheets. Retailers run out of stock while the warehouse shows healthy inventory. Brand teams can’t tell which distributor is executing and which is just forwarding promo budgets into thin air.
Zivni pulls that entire operation into one system — beat planning, GPS attendance, order capture, stock visibility, retailer relationships, and real-time reporting. What happens in the field shows up on the dashboard. What’s on the dashboard matches what’s on the invoice.
Who we are
Zivni is built by a team that has spent years building software for emerging markets. Before this, we shipped products in e-commerce, logistics, commodity trade, and mining-adjacent industries — each one teaching us something specific about building for environments where connectivity is unreliable, data is messy, and the people doing the actual work are often the ones with the least patience for complicated tools.
We’re a team of 50+ engineers, designers, product managers, and field-support staff spread across Pakistan and the GCC. Most of us have worked directly inside FMCG operations or alongside them — building WhatsApp bots for retailer ordering, integrating with legacy ERPs, sitting in distributor warehouses watching orders get processed. That context shows up in the product.
Why we built Zivni
The big field sales platforms — Bizom, FieldAssist, SAP’s field modules — are impressive pieces of software, but they were built for a different market. Large Indian FMCG companies, Western retail chains, enterprise buyers with six-figure software budgets and IT teams to support them.
What exists in Pakistan, the UAE, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya? A different reality. Mid-sized distributors who grew up on Excel and Tally, running 30 to 300 sales reps across cities where network coverage disappears every few kilometers. Retailers who can’t read English menus but happily send WhatsApp orders in Urdu, Arabic, or Hausa. Brand teams that want real execution data without a six-month implementation project.
We built Zivni for exactly this reality. Modern codebase. Offline-first mobile architecture. Modular pricing that starts at $5/user/month so a 15-person distributor can afford it. Voice order entry in Urdu and Arabic. WhatsApp ordering bots for retailers who’ll never log into a portal. AI shelf photo analysis that works on a mid-range Android phone.
Our customers
Our customers range from single-country Pakistani distributors running 40-person field teams to multi-country FMCG groups with operations across the GCC and East Africa. For reasons we respect — competitive sensitivity, commercial agreements, and in some cases the simple preference of not wanting to be seen as early adopters — most of our customer names stay confidential.
What we can say is this: the distributors and brands using Zivni today are serious operators who chose us over the enterprise-tier alternatives not because we were cheaper, but because we were faster to deploy, easier to train on, and built specifically for their conditions. References are available for serious prospects under NDA.
Where we’re going
Our roadmap for the next 18 months is clear: deeper integrations with the accounting systems our market actually uses (Tally, Odoo, Sage, QuickBooks), expanded language support for West and East Africa, and more AI-assisted tools that replace manual reporting with real-time decision support.
We’re a focused business building for a specific market. Not trying to be everything for everyone. Just trying to be the platform that actually works for FMCG distribution in the markets the big players ignore.
If that’s the kind of software you’ve been looking for, let’s talk.
